Hiii, really been trying to figure this out! The bass starts at the beginning of the song I figured its a sine wave with some sort of distortion. Obviously an increased attack and short release but other than that Im stuck!

I think it’s a sampled bass, that is why you can hear a lot of clicks and maybe there is an 808 layer too. It also works together with the kick and it gives an impression of being fuller than it actually is. Also, the swing plays a huge part.

As for recreating it, yeah maybe a sine or triangle with pitch modulation to give it a sharp attack
