      Hi again! I’m willing to recreate ARTBAT’s lead patch from track called Flame. For sure there is something going on with Envelope on Pitch, and also so clap/noise layer down here, but how to get such sharp synth sound? Thanks!

        I think the trick is combining the right filter settings with the right type and amount of distortion. Try this:

        Oscillator: Saw

        Filter: Lowpass 24 dB. Bring the Cutoff a bit to take off the top but still leave a bright sound. Then give it quite a lot of Res.

        Distortion: Crank it

        Voice: Legato with modest Portamento to get the notes to bend into each other

        Reverb: A little wet, very big.

          Hi Joe! Thanks for your thoughts on that!

          I think it’s getting somewhere near patch I’d like to recreate. Still missing some sharpness of bending notes into each other, but for sure it’s similar. To get even better effect of bending the trick might be to use some low ghost notes before higher ones just to make more distance between notes, then this effect could be more dramatic.
