September 11, 2018 at 2:13 am #19930do I get 1-2 stars?
Definitely 2! I think you really nailed the tone. So much so, I think the stacked sine and FM approach is probably along the lines of what the original patch actually is. Nice work.
Awesome! Wasn’t sure though if it’s dark enough, but then I lost a lot of brightness when turned down so left it as it is…
Happy with the 2 stars lol, thanks Joe!!! 😀In reply to: PATCH CHALLENGE: House Organ

September 6, 2018 at 3:47 pm #19697Hello Gentlemen,
I made an attempt to this though I have to tell I had to check how you start guys , i don’t know how to make an organ. The base gave me a push and used 2 sines tuned -9/+9 and a sub osc two octave lower. I used a bandpass to make it a bit dull and a highpass to with higher reso to give some character.
Plus the old hits Chorus, some Classic Tube distortion plus a little white noise, then attenuated the mid with some EQ. All these within Massive. I think the original has good amount of post process and EQ… Cheers.

Ah yeah I used an A-minor chord no inversion.
I forgot there is FM MOD on OSC1 – I remembered this one from somewhere…

August 24, 2018 at 1:43 pm #18174Hey Patchers 🙂
Just seen this and though I see the first few setting of Joe’s answer I rolled over and challenged myself. The sound remembered me to a TB303 base so I popped up one of my older patch and hammered a bit. Know it’s not perfect but hope you like it…
OSC 1 Pulse-Saw
OSC 2 Square-Saw both WT position around 1 o’clock
Filter 1 Acid High Reso
Filter 2 Bandwidth – narrow Band and high Reso
