      Need help with the synth “background vocals”
      Any ideas would be most appreciated.

        Are you sure it’s a synth? Or could it be actual humans singing? Maybe a Mellotron?

          I’m sure it’s synthetic, but I suppose it could be a mellotron.
          When I saw them live there were no background singers.

              It sounds like a mellotron. It has a very organic sampled sound.

              In this video, his moog is sitting on top of a mellotron, and it looks like his hand is below the moog, holding out on those vocal pads.
