Hello! I’ve been trying to figure out the synth starting on 0:16. Any recommendations?

      Thank you!

Cool sound. Try starting with this:

Oscillator: Saw wave. Unison with about 4 voices, with a moderate detune so that it’s lush but not out of tune, and narrow width.

Filter: Low Pass, 24 dB. Bring the Cutoff down a little to bring in a bit of roundness.

Flanger: This creates that metallic rising sound responsible for the character of this patch. Flanger parameters var, bu ideally you want: Heavy wetness (you could even try 100%), and heavy Feedback (also close to 100%). You’ll want it to be mono, not stereo. If not that’s not an option, there may be a Phase option, depending on the synth you’re using, that you can tweak until it sounds like one mono flange, instead of two separate flanges. Slow Rate so it rises really slowly. And you can experiment with Depth and Center frequency to match the sound closer.

Then you can experiment with changing the Filter Cutoff and Flanger Mix (wetness) over time to make the sound evolve (get brighter/darker, more/less flangy)
